The Discover Motiva Card, issued by Discover Card USA, is the best card for consumers that to earn their cash back rebates while being rewarded for making payments on time.
Cardholders can earn a bonus for paying on time - every time a cardholder makes six payments in a row, on or before they are due, they will recieve a credit equity to the payment of the interest due the following month on their bill. Cardholders can receive this bonus up to twice per year.
There is no annual fee for this card.
The card offers many of the same cash back characteristics as the Discover More Card, including up to 1% on most purchases and up to 5% cash back on catergories such as movies, restaurants, travel, gas and much more. Like the Discover More Card, cardholders can earn many multiples of their cash back card reward when they cash their rebates in for gift certificates at participating Discover merchants and partners.
There is no annual maximum amount of rewards that can be earned, and they do not expire as long as the card is used within a 3 year period.
As is common with other top credit cards, this card offers travel accident insurance (up to $500,000), fraud and security protection, car rental insurance, and discounts with associated vendors and retailers.
