The card offers many of the same cash back characteristics as the Discover More Card, including 1% on most purchases and up to 5% cash back on catergories such as movies, restaurants, travel, gas and much more. Like the Discover More Card, cardholders can earn many multiples of their cash back card reward when they cash their rebates in for gift certificates at participating Discover merchants and partners.

There is no annual maximum amount of rewards that can be earned, and they do not expire as long as the card is used within a 3 year period.

As is common with other top credit cards, this card offers travel accident insurance (up to $500,000), fraud and security protection, car rental insurance, and discounts with associated vendors and retailers.
